1. We have booked and accepted the goods for transportation at OWNER’s RISK only. It is, therefore, responsibility of Consignor/ Consignee to get their goods insured towards transit risks with any insurance company.

2. The Company does not take any responsibility for breakage, spoiling by sun, rain, water and rainy weather. Sender is responsible for proper packing.

3. Fresh Fruits are carried at absolute risk of the sender as they are likely to be spoiled in the way.

4. The Company will send goods at the earliest opportunity in one lot or in part lots according to their convenience.

5. The goods will be delivered to consignee or his agent against payment of all charges.

6. The goods will be delivered at destination in the Company’s godown only unless settled otherwise in writing.

7. The delivery of the goods will have to be taken within three days after arrival at destination failing which the same will be liable to demurrage @ Rs. 5 per Quintal per day.

8. If there is any claim on account of this goods receipt the same shall have to be made within 15 days failing which the same shall be considered as null & void.

9. The Company takes absolutely no responsibility and is not liable for delay or losses in transit due to accidents strikes or other causes beyond our control and due to breakdown of vehicle enroute and for the consequences thereof.

10. When once the delivery is taken against receipt no claim will be entertained after that on any account.

11. If the Sales tax, octroi or the customer or any other Govt. people assess the goods wrongly we will not be responsible for the fault and claim if any shall be made on such items from the sales tax /octroi/customs direct by the consignee or sender as the case may be.

12. If any difference is found in actual weight as compared with G.R. and the goods, the company will recover full charge at the destination for actual weight plus 25% extra as penalty.

13. If the goods of any G.R. do not arrive at the destination within a month the sender should serve the company with Registered Notice as otherwise the company will not be responsible for claim or any legal action.

14. If the consignee does not take delivery of goods within one month the Company reserves the right of putting the same to Public auction.

15. If the consignor wants the goods to be covered against fire and theft in the way he must so declare and pay the premium which will be quoted by the booking clerk.

16. In Kacha places if the trucks cannot go, customer will take delivery of the goods at the place where truck reached and pay full freight to the driver.

17. If the value of goods is above Rs. 100/- it must be insured otherwise the company will not be responsible or liable for any claim.

18. The Company is not responsible for loss, damage to goods by breakage, evaporation, theft on road & weather conditions strikes, lockout, riots, Civil and Physical disturbances, explosion, fire or accident to vehicle by which goods are transported or fire to godown where goods are stored.

19. The transporter shall not be responsible in the event, if the consignment is transported in the Truck not belonging to them and the owner shall not claim from the transporter any damages in the event but shall claim from the owner of the motor vehicle.

20. Consignor/Consignee will be responsible for illegal goods.

21. Any dispute regarding this G.R. will be settled at CHANDIGARH. “The courts at Chandigarh alone shall have jurisdiction in respect of all claims and matters arising under the consignment of the Goods entrusted for transport.”
